Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using InspectIQ ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and RaneyApps ("we," "our," or "us").

Description of Service

InspectIQ is an AI-powered mobile application designed to help home inspectors document properties efficiently. The App allows you to capture photos, record notes, and generate professional inspection reports using artificial intelligence. The App is intended for use by professional home inspectors and is not a substitute for professional judgment, training, or certification.

User Responsibilities

By using the App, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Use the App only for lawful purposes
  • Not share your account with others
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Not use the App to violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Ensure you have proper authorization to photograph and document properties
  • Verify all AI-generated content for accuracy before including it in final reports

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding your user-generated content), is owned by RaneyApps and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our prior written consent. You retain ownership of all content you create using the App, including photos, notes, and reports.

AI-Generated Content

The App uses artificial intelligence to assist in generating inspection reports and analyzing photos. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inconsistencies. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing all AI-generated content before using it in your professional reports. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content for your specific needs. Use of AI features is subject to the terms and conditions of our AI service providers.

Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features of the App may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Pay all applicable fees for your chosen subscription plan
  • Automatic renewal of your subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Manage subscriptions and cancellations through your Apple ID account settings

Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policy.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. THE APP IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL HOME INSPECTION TRAINING, CERTIFICATION, OR JUDGMENT.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RANEYAPPS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain continuous availability of the App but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any features at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App. The App includes offline functionality, but certain features require an internet connection.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the App or sending you an email. Your continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in California.
